Microphone and camera

The mic test and camera test access your devices only after you press Start and allow it in your browser. Audio and video are processed locally in your browser. They are never uploaded, stored on a server or shared.

Test recordings and photos exist only in the open page and are deleted when you leave or reload it, unless you choose to download a photo to your own device.

Screen and FPS tools

The white screen, black screen, dead pixel test and FPS test do not use any personal data. They run entirely on your device.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and tools are used, so we know what to fix and what to build next. It records information such as the pages you open, the site that sent you, your approximate location (country or city) and your device and browser type. To tell visits apart, Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga, which can last up to two years. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. We never receive your name or email address.

We do not use advertising cookies. Audio, video and the text you type into the tools are not sent to Google Analytics.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them. Anyone can change their choice at any time.

Settings saved on your device

Some tools remember your choices, such as light or dark mode, volume or the text you were working on, in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser's data for this site removes it.

Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting service may record standard technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request, to keep the site running and secure.
